  • Provide, maintain, and improve our AI-powered services
  • Process transactions and send billing-related communications
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support
  • Send you product updates and marketing communications (with opt-out options)
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats

3. Data Processing & AI

Documents and data you upload are processed by our AI models to provide analysis, summaries, and insights. Your data is never used to train our AI models. When using the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) feature, your data is sent directly to your chosen AI provider under their respective terms of service.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including end-to-end encryption (AES-256), SOC 2 Type II compliance, and regular penetration testing. All data is stored in encrypted form at rest and in transit. API keys provided through BYOK are encrypted using envelope encryption and are never logged or exposed.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded documents and AI conversation logs can be deleted at any time from your dashboard. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), authentication, and infrastructure hosting. Each provider is vetted for compliance and bound by data processing agreements. When you use BYOK, your queries are routed through your selected AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google).

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and request a copy
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Restrict or object to data processing
